Empowering Global Talent through Education

Partnering with Leading International Institutions

In March 2023, IIWB signed a major partnership agreement with SKEMA Business School.

Through such collaborations, IIWB seeks to create a unique and dynamic network that supports the promotion of diverse industries both in France and abroad. This initiative is particularly aimed to foster mutual learning between Chinese and Western educational models, bringing together distinct approaches to cultivate exceptional individuals.

Looking ahead, IIWB will continue to pursue strategic partnerships with leading business schools and universities, in order to provide more personalized academic services tailored to a wide range of career aspirations and educational paths.

“There are significant differences in education between China and the West, and the exceptional talents they cultivate each have their own distinct characteristics. We hope to learn from one another’s strengths, bring Chinese elites to Europe, connect them with the long-established Western elite, and help them learn from each other.”

Supporting Youth through Art and Cinema

IIWB x Better World Fund – Charity Gala at the 76th Cannes Film Festival

In May 2023, IIWB co-organized a charity gala alongside Better World Fund and renowned movie stars at the InterContinental Carlton Cannes.

Under the theme « The Power of Youth », the event aimed to empower the next generation of creatives and support them with opportunities to shape a brighter future.

IIWB members participated in the Cannes red carpet as film investors, showing strong commitment to young filmmakers.

IIWB will continue to play an active role and support youth and contribute to film production initiatives. The IIWB will intensify its focus on young filmmakers and contribute within its capabilities to the field of film production.

Promoting Education through Sport

Heritage, Mental Health and Personal Growth

IIWB recognizes sport as a powerful educational tool and a vital contributor to both individual and collective well-being.

In this spirit, Grace Shi, Secretary General and spokesperson of IIWB, was appointed Honorary President of the Journées de l’Héritage Sportif—a role that underscores her long-standing commitment to the values embodied by sport.

IIWB actively promotes the integration of sport into daily life as a means of personal development and lifelong learning. The Institute also advocates for the preservation and recognition of traditional sporting events, which form an essential part of cultural heritage and collective memory.

In addition, IIWB encourages the celebration of sports heroes whose journeys can serve as sources of inspiration for younger generations. The Institute supports the creation of sports-themed literature, artistic works, and thematic exhibitions that capture the values, emotions, and lessons that sport can bring to society.

During the event, Grace Shi highlighted the transformative potential of sport in shaping character, fostering resilience, and supporting mental health—especially in the post-pandemic context, where rebuilding social connections and emotional stability is more important than ever. She stressed that team sports, in particular, play a crucial role in reconnecting communities and nurturing a sense of belonging.

Fostering Multicultural Dialogue through the Arts

Paris International Children’s Art Festival at the Eiffel Tower

Organized by the European Artists Association (AAE), with the support of UNESCO (Chad) and sponsored IIWB, the Paris International Children’s Art Festival brought together creativity, culture, and international cooperation in an iconic setting: the Eiffel Tower.

The festival was founded on a strong conviction—that every child, regardless of background or geography, should have access to high-quality art education. By promoting equal opportunity in the arts, the event sought to inspire young minds, foster cultural expression, and build bridges between communities across the globe.

A key highlight of the festival was a series of exclusive video courses led by prominent figures in the art world. Rémy Aron, Chairman of the French Styling Arts Association and Professor at the Paris Academy of Fine Arts, offered deep insights into the foundations of visual art. He was joined by Claude Yvel, a hyperrealist surrealist painter, and Philippe Muyl, renowned French filmmaker and director of The Butterfly, who both shared their experiences and perspectives on the lifelong impact of artistic education.

The event also featured moving testimonials from families across France, Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong, and other countries, each sharing how art had played a vital role in the growth and development of their children.

Messages of support were delivered by representatives from the Embassy of Chad in China and UNESCO Chad, who expressed strong optimism for the Chad–UNESCO collaboration project and the role of art in fostering global dialogue.

Through this initiative, IIWB reaffirmed its commitment to building platforms that celebrate diversity, nurture creativity, and make art education accessible to all.
